NPP Sets Tuesday,9th July To Present NAPO To Asantehene,Asanteman:
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will officially present its running mate to the overlord of the Ashanti Kingdom in a grand style.
Sammy Awuku, a key advisor to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team told media Practitioners that Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh will meet Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Asanteman Council on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
“Next week, Tuesday, July 9, 2024, the NPP will perform two duties. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh is a native of the Ashanti Region, so we will present him to the Asanteman Council and Otumfuo Osei Tutu in Kumasi on Tuesday afternoon next week. Then, we will proceed to outdoor him at Jubilee Park in Kumasi,” he outlined events to introduce NAPO to the Ashanti region.
He added: “Then afterwards, Dr Bawumia will hit the trail up north to begin the constituency-by-constituency campaign while his running mate also begins his tour around the country. So, these are busy days ahead for the NPP, and the NPP is determined to win this December election.”
