Some Areas in Greater Accra To Experience Power Outage on Monday,13th January

The Electricity Company of Ghana has announced that some areas in the Greater Accra Region will experience power outage for the better part of Monday January 13 due to planned maintenance.

In a statement released by the company on Saturday morning some areas in the region will stay without power as they will turn it off to facilitate the exercise. They said that the maintenance is aimed at streamlining service delivery to the people.

Areas that will be affected by the power outage on Monday include Haatso, Agbogba EP Church and the surrounding areas. People who live in these areas have been asked to be ready for the power outage.

The maintenance comes even as rumors continues to spread that the country will run into a total blackout as there is no enough fuel for power generation. However, president Mahama has assured the Ghanaians that his administration is working around the clock to prevent the power outage.
