Abuontem residents Angry at their chief for disrespecting Otumfour’s directives.

Following the recent directive by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II,Asantehene over Abuontem land disputes charged all who were building on their lands to stop work until the work of the surveyors was completed,Score of aggrieved residents of Abuontem of the Bosomtwe Constituency boiling with rage.

They have registered their anger against Chief of Abuontem, Nana Akomea Sakyi Tutu II, for showing gross disrespect against Asantehene’s directives.

They have alleged that the chief has collected some amount of monies from some private developers and given them green light to work whereas the Asantehene has imposed ban on all ongoing construction work at the area.

Speaking in an interview with this medium,www.dailywatchgh.com immediately after the press conference they revealed that, videos, receipt and audios are prepared as evidence to prove that, the chief has estorted monies ranging from  fifteen thousand cedis (GHC 15,000) and above from some landowners who are also natives and residents at the area.
Again the chief of Abuontem Nana Akomea Sakyi Tutu II,is not applying Democratic methods of governance, when he speaks that all.

The residents and good people of Abuontem and it’s surrounding communities used opportunity humbly requested for the immediate intervention of his Royal Majesty, Asantehene to rectify the situation as the overlord”.

According to our closed source, the inactions of the Chief is likely to trigger chaos if he is not called to order by Manhyia palace.

We are ready to resist any attempt by Nana Akomea Sakyi Tutu II,should he continue to disobey or disrespect the directives of the king of Ashanti kingdom, Asantehene.
