NPP MP INSPECTS KOTOKUOM RECONSTRUCTION BRIDGE
Hon. Seth Osei Akoto, the Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Constituency, inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the Kotokuom Bridge on April 15, 2025. The bridge, which connects Nyinawusu,Apramadi,Kotokuom and other surrounding communities in the Ashanti Region, has been in disrepair for years and serves thousands of residents, including farmers, traders,school children and other government workers.

Project Timeline: The reconstruction works are expected to be completed within a three-month period, barring any unforeseen circumstances Progress and Quality: Hon. Akoto expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and the contractor’s professionalism, noting the project’s steady progress.
Impact on Residents: The completed bridge will significantly improve access to markets, schools, and health facilities, bringing relief to the local population who have faced challenges during the rainy season.
Government’s Efforts: The MP emphasized that the project is part of the government’s broader efforts to bridge the infrastructure gap in rural areas and enhance the quality of life for underserved communities.
The chief of Kotokuom, Nana Kofi Fofie, and residents appreciated Mr Akoto and the government for addressing their longstanding request. They expressed gratitude for the MP’s responsiveness and practical approach to leadership.
