Domi-KeniagoChief Calls for Action On Roads And Education:
At a powerful homecoming durbar aimed at construction of teachers bungalows,Nana Obeng Mensah Ababio,Chief of Manso Domi-Keniago in the Amansie South District of the Ashanti Region,made a heartfelt appeal to the governing National Democratic Congress NDC to urgently address the community’s deteriorating road infrastructure and ongoing educational challenges.
He want government and other stakeholders to fix the terrible roads,Solve the teachers shortage and support quality education in the community.
According to Nana Obeng Mensah Ababio, the poor state of the roads and the shortage of teachers in the area have become major obstacles to development, negatively impacting daily life and hindering progress in education and economic activities.
He emphasized that residents of Domi-Keniago continue to suffer due to neglect and lack of essential infrastructure, and urged government authorities to prioritize their needs in order to improve the standard of living and foster growth in the community.
Touching on education, the chief declared that one of his top priorities is to ensure education is commendable, valuable, and accessible,right at the doorsteps of every individual in the area.
“We cannot grow as a community if our children are left behind. Education must reach everyone no matter where they live.” Nana Obeng Mensah Ababio,he said.
He urged authorities not to forget rural communities like Domi-Keniago,where development has lagged for far too long.
In his response, the Amansie South District Chief Executive, Honourable Benjiman Marfo who is also a native of Domi Keniago assured the community that he would do all he could to address the pressing issues they face.
He revealed that the ruling National Democratic Congress NDC government has many plans for Manso and urged the people to be patient and continue to have hope in their leadership.
