When Grief Silences Politics: Mahama and Bawumia Stand Shoulder to Shoulder for a Mourning Nation

In the quiet shadow of tragedy, two of Ghana’s most prominent leaders,President John Dramani Mahama and former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, stood side by side, their hearts united by loss.

The devastating military helicopter crash that claimed eight precious lives did more than shake the nation; it dissolved the walls of political rivalry, leaving only the shared humanity of two men determined to comfort a grieving Ghana.

Their handshake was not just a greeting,it was a promise. A promise that when the country weeps, its leaders will put aside differences to share in the pain, offer hope, and remind every Ghanaian that in sorrow, we are one people.

On this day, compassion became the language of leadership, and unity became the heartbeat of the nation.
