MCE Rolls Out Bold Vision: Wisdom Osei Boamah Vows to Make Atwima Nwabiagya South Cleaner and Better

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Atwima Nwabiagya South, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah, has unveiled an ambitious plan to transform the municipality, pledging to deliver both groundbreaking development projects and a sweeping sanitation campaign that will position the area as a model district in the Ashanti Region.

Speaking after a fact-finding and problem-solving visit to traders at the Nkawie Market, Hon. Boamah reaffirmed his commitment to President John Dramani Mahama’s sanitation vision, stressing that his administration would roll out practical and sustainable solutions to ensure a clean and healthy environment.

“Sanitation is central to development, and we cannot talk about progress when our environment is filthy. I am determined to champion President Mahama’s vision by making Atwima Nwabiagya South one of the cleanest municipalities in Ghana,” he declared.

The MCE explained that direct community engagement remains a cornerstone of his leadership style, ensuring that the concerns and priorities of residents are fully integrated into the municipality’s development agenda.

Beyond sanitation, Hon. Boamah announced that his administration would place strong emphasis on road construction, market upgrades, healthcare facilities, and educational infrastructure, projects designed to stimulate local growth and improve livelihoods across all communities.

“My vision is simple – Atwima Nwabiagya South must see development like never before. Under the ruling NDC government, we are committed to rolling out projects that will touch every community and improve the quality of life for all,” he assured.

Traders and residents at the Nkawie Market welcomed the MCE’s visit with excitement, describing it as a refreshing display of leadership that listens, engages, and acts.

Hon. Boamah further appealed to the general public-particularly residents within the municipality-to rally behind his administration to achieve these ambitious goals, stressing that “development is a shared responsibility that requires collective effort.”
