MobileMoney LTD Steps Up Fraud Fight with Nationwide ‘Shine Your Eye’ Campaign

MobileMoney LTD has intensified its efforts to combat mobile money fraud with the launch of a nationwide awareness drive dubbed the “Shine Your Eye” Campaign.

The initiative combines advanced security innovations on the MoMo platform with massive community engagement to protect customers and strengthen financial trust.

Key safety features being promoted under the campaign include:

Biometric login for secure account access

Easy PIN reset options for users

Self-initiated reversals to address mistaken transactions

A 24/7 fraud support team to assist victims and prevent further losses

Beyond technology, the campaign extends fraud education to markets, transport hubs, and communities across Ghana, while also leveraging television, radio, print, and social media to spread safety messages in relatable ways.

“With these innovations and customer awareness, we are setting new standards for mobile financial security in Ghana,” said Abdul Razak Issaka Ali, Chief Commercial & Operations Officer of MobileMoney LTD.

The “Shine Your Eye” Campaign underscores MobileMoney LTD’s commitment to safeguarding customers while consolidating the gains made in driving financial inclusion nationwide.
