Atwima Mponua Poised for Growth as District Assemblies Receive Briefing on 24-Hour Economy Market Project

The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs has engaged District Assemblies nationwide in a crucial sensitization meeting on the rollout of the 24-Hour Economy Market Project. The session, held this week, offered comprehensive insights and practical guidance to ensure smooth implementation across local jurisdictions.

Participants were taken through the project’s strategic framework, timelines, and operational expectations aimed at strengthening local market systems, generating employment, and promoting economic activity around the clock.

Officials from Atwima Mponua District expressed appreciation to the Minister and his team for the initiative, describing it as a timely and transformative step. They affirmed their readiness to fully support the vision of H.E. John Dramani Mahama toward building resilient local economies and expanding income-generating opportunities for citizens.

The district pledged its commitment to collaborate with stakeholders in translating the project into real developmental gains for communities.
