AKIDA Initiative Launched to Drive Community-Led Development in Atwima Kwanwoma

Political strategist Isaac Larbi proposes an evidence-based framework to unite stakeholders and accelerate sustainable constituency development.

    By:DailyWatchGH.com

Political Strategy and Governance Analyst Isaac Larbi has proposed the establishment of the Atwima Kwanwoma Integrated Development Agenda (AKIDA),a non-partisan initiative aimed at promoting coordinated and sustainable development across the constituency.

According to him, development should not rest solely on the Member of Parliament or central government but should involve the collective efforts of the District Assembly,Assembly Members, traditional authorities, professionals, businesses, development partners and citizens.

He explained that AKIDA would create a constituency development database, identify priority community needs through research and stakeholder engagement, and prepare professional proposals to attract support from government,NGOs,corporate organisations and development partners.

Mr.Larbi believes the initiative will strengthen development planning, improve resource mobilisation and foster transparency, accountability and shared ownership, ensuring that every community has a voice in shaping the future of Atwima Kwanwoma.
