    Bawumia was forced to state his position on LGBTQ – Assembly Member.

    The Assembly member for Mpasatia Ahenbronumu electoral area in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region, Hon. Salifu Karim has said, the vice President was forced to state his position on LGBTQI+ that is why he was How difficult to state his position last Thursday at Kumasi Central mosque.

    According to him, there is a deliberate attempt by the president and the vice president not to assent to the Anti-LGBTQ+ bill due to the financial benefits they will lose should it be signed into law.

    In an interview with pressmen, the Mpasatia Ahenbronumu Assembly Member said, The leadership of NPP Government should boldly come out and tell Ghanaian on their position and also assents to the bill.

    He added that, Muslims in Ghana have been urged to demand the stance on LGBTQ that is why he was difficult to even read.
