Breaking:Tension in Ashanti: Wontumi’s Ally Abducted, Whereabouts Unknown
Panic has gripped Ejisu Krapa following reports that Emmanuel Kofi Asare Baffour, popularly known as Akyeamkwaa Nana and a trusted aide to NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako (Wontumi), has allegedly been abducted by eight heavily armed men.
Eyewitnesses say the incident occurred late Monday night as he was driving home from work. His whereabouts remain unknown, and checks reveal he is not in custody at any police station within Kumasi or the wider Ashanti Region.
Security agencies have yet to comment, but tension in the municipality or region is mounting.
