The Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Constituency, Seth Osei Akoto, has reaffirmed his dedication to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its future political direction after participating in a strategic meeting between the Minority Caucus and the party’s Presidential Candidate and President-in-Waiting, Mahamudu Bawumia.

The high-level engagement, held ahead of Parliament’s resumption on Thursday, focused on strengthening the Minority Caucus’ preparedness, unity, and leadership approach as the NPP positions itself as a credible alternative government ready to reclaim power.

Addressing the caucus, Dr. Bawumia urged Minority Members of Parliament to remain calm, disciplined, confident, and focused in the discharge of their parliamentary responsibilities.

According to him, the NPP must project maturity, unity, and strategic coordination while championing the interests of the Ghanaian people.

He further stressed the need for constructive engagement in Parliament, emphasizing that the party’s collective conduct and preparedness would play a crucial role in rebuilding public trust and confidence ahead of the next general election.

Speaking after the meeting, Hon. Seth Osei-Akoto described the engagement as timely and impactful, noting that solidarity among party executives, grassroots supporters, and elected officials remains essential to the NPP’s rebuilding process.

He commended Dr. Bawumia for his visionary leadership, humility, competence, and unwavering commitment to national development and the growth of the New Patriotic Party.

According to the Atwima Mponua legislator, the NPP remains Ghana’s most organized, experienced, and forward-looking political party, fully prepared to return to power through innovative leadership, sound policy direction, and people-centered governance.

The meeting ended on a renewed note of optimism and determination, with party members expressing confidence in the NPP’s ability to regroup, reconnect with the electorate, and present a stronger political force ahead of the future elections.

Indeed, the NPP continues to project itself as a united, energized, and focused government-in-waiting.
