Community Development A Shared Responsibility-Mr Yaw Agyapong:

“Mr. Yaw Fobi Agyapong, a renowned America-based Ghanaian and native of Odumase Afrancho in the Atwima Kwanwoma district, emphasizes that the development of the country, particularly improving the education sector, is a shared responsibility. This mindset encourages collective ownership and action towards progress.

Working together, individuals, communities, and governments can pool resources, expertise, and efforts to drive meaningful development and create positive change.

According to Mr. Agyapong, the government alone cannot satisfy every Ghanaian’s needs. He stresses the importance of individuals taking an active role in contributing to their community’s development and fostering collaborations between individuals, organizations, and government agencies to achieve common goals. Development, he reminds, is a collective responsibility, not solely reliant on one entity or group, such as the ruling government.

Embracing this mindset, Ghanaians can come together to address challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and create a brighter future for themselves and future generations.”

Mr Agyapong again appeal to the general public especially those abroad to support the project to be able to complete it at a stipulated period next 2026.

Adding his part,Nana Yaw Sarpong, Kontihene of Konkoli Afrancho, has made a heartfelt appeal to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, to intervene in the chieftaincy issue affecting the area. He emphasizes the need for communal spirit and collective effort to drive development.

Chieftaincy disputes is indeed hindering progress and development in these two communities. The intervention of a respected leader like Otumfuo Osei Tutu II could help resolve the issue and pave the way for peace, stability, and growth in the area.

He suggested that, promoting communal spirit and seeking support from revered leaders, communities can work together to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
