The hardworking and fantabulous District Chief Executive for Atwima Mponua, Hon. Issahaque Ibrahim, has paid an unannounced working visit to the exhibition farm of the Seed Production Division of COCOBOD, located right here in Atwima Mponua.

Though hosted in our district, this strategic facility serves four districts across the Ashanti and Western North Regions, making it a backbone of Ghana’s cocoa seed production efforts.

During his engagement with staff, Hon. Ibrahim demanded clarity on their operations and mission.

Explored job opportunities and recruitment processes.

Advocated for Atwima Mponua to be prioritized in service delivery, as proud hosts of this vital establishment.

He emphasized that beyond cocoa production, such facilities should translate into real opportunities for the local youth and communities.

“As leaders, we must ensure that our people benefit first from resources we host. Atwima Mponua deserves nothing less,” Hon. Ibrahim stated.

This visit forms part of his new proactive strategy to bring governance closer to the people while championing agricultural growth and sustainable job creation.

Together, we remain committed to transforming agriculture into a true engine of growth for our district and beyond.
