The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Grace Agyemang Asamoah, has firmly denied reports linking her to fraudulent activities involving the use of her name and phone number to solicit money from unsuspecting individuals.

Speaking on her behalf to www.dailywatchgh.com, Murtalla Mohammed Personal Assistant to the DCE described the allegations as baseless, malicious, and a calculated attempt to damage her reputation.

“I want to emphatically state that I have not, and will never, engage in any act of extortion. I urge the public, especially social media users, to immediately report and assist in the arrest of anyone impersonating me or using my name and office for such criminal purposes,” Hon. Asamoah cautioned.

She reaffirmed her commitment to protecting her personal integrity, as well as safeguarding the image of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its leader, His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama.

The DCE further appealed to the public to disregard the falsehoods, stressing that such fabrications are deliberately orchestrated to undermine her office and credibility.
