    Kumasi fire Outbreak:We will returned Site to the rightful owners after reclamation,NADMO Refutes false claims:

     

    Ahmed-Rufai Afarahim, the Deputy Director General of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), has denied rumors circulating on social media that the Kumasi fire outbreak scene will not be returned to its owners after the site’s reclamation. This denial aims to alleviate concerns among affected traders and owners.

    The Kumasi fire outbreak, which occurred early Friday morning, caused extensive damage to buildings and goods, with approximately 2,000 traders losing their goods.

    The deputy director general of National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has reaffirmed its commitment to returning the land to its rightful owners after the reclamation process is complete.

    NADMO’s Deputy Director General, Ahmed-Rufai Afarahim, has categorically denied false claims circulating on social media that the organization intends to seize the land permanently.

    Instead, NADMO assures the affected traders and property owners that,the reclamation process is aimed at clearing debris and ensuring the site is safe for reconstruction.

    The land will be returned to its original owners after the reclamation process is complete.

    NADMO’s primary focus is on supporting the affected individuals and facilitating the recovery process.

    Mr. Ahmed-Rufai Afarahim, the Deputy Director General of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), has praised the Ghana Fire Service for their selfless efforts in calming down a recent situation, despite facing a shortage of resources.

    This commendation highlights the dedication and professionalism of the Ghana Fire Service in the face of challenges.

     

    The former Municipal Chief Executive for Obuasi, Hon. Kwesi Ofori Agyemang, has made a promising statement on behalf of the Ashanti Regional Minister. He assured that the ruling NDC government will go all out to support and maintain a cordial relationship with the people of Ashanti Region. This commitment to fostering a positive relationship is likely to involve various initiatives, including infrastructure development, support for small businesses, and trading activities in the region.

    In attendance were ,Mr Frank Duodu,the Ashanti regional NADMO coordinator and other security officers.
