Kumawu MP Declares War on Sand Mining -Orders Immediate Crackdown

Hands Off Our Roads-Ernest  Anim Rages Against Destruction

The Member of Parliament for Kumawu, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, has issued a fiery warning to illegal sand miners, accusing them of wreaking havoc on critical infrastructure in the district.

Over the weekend, reckless sand mining activities badly damaged an uncompleted road project initiated under the previous government, sparking outrage from the MP.

Hon. Anim stressed that public property must be protected to safeguard Kumawu’s development, charging the police and the anti-robbery unit to immediately clamp down on the menace.

“The road is for the people of Kumawu, not for selfish destruction. I will not sit idle while our future is compromised,” he fumed.

The MP reaffirmed government’s commitment to completing all ongoing projects and vowed to personally lead routine inspections to ensure those who damage state resources are held accountable.
