The Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Constituency, Hon. Seth Osei-Akoto, has reaffirmed his commitment to education by donating more than 3,000 mathematical sets to candidates preparing for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) across the district.

The gesture, which has become an annual intervention, marks the fourth consecutive year the MP has extended such support to final-year junior high school students. The initiative is aimed at reducing the financial burden on parents while ensuring candidates are well-equipped ahead of their examinations.

Addressing the students during the presentation ceremony, Hon. Osei-Akoto urged them to remain focused, disciplined, and confident as they prepare to write their exams. He cautioned against examination malpractice and encouraged candidates to rely on hard work and determination to succeed.

“I believe in your potential to excel. Stay committed to your studies and approach the BECE with confidence and integrity,” he advised.

The MP also assured residents of his continued efforts to improve educational standards in the constituency, highlighting ongoing engagements to ensure the posting of adequate teachers to schools within Atwima Mponua.

The District Director of Education, Ms. Ama Adwubi Asafu-Adjaye, praised the MP for his sustained support to the education sector, describing the initiative as impactful and timely. According to her, such interventions significantly enhance teaching and learning outcomes in the district.

Beneficiary students and teachers expressed deep appreciation for the donation, noting that the provision of mathematical sets would greatly aid candidates during the examination period. They also offered prayers for the MP’s continued success in serving the constituency.
The donation forms part of Hon.

Osei-Akoto’s broader agenda to promote quality education and empower young learners in Atwima Mponua.
