    ABANDONED NEWBORN FOUND IN BUSH AT DECHIMSO-HAFIA, POLICE LAUNCH INVESTIGATION

     

    Dechimso-Hafia, Ashanti Region,Shock and concern have gripped residents of Dechimso-Hafia in the Manhyia South Constituency following the discovery of an abandoned newborn baby in a nearby bush.

    According to eyewitness accounts, the infant was found yesterday by residents who were passing through the area. The discovery prompted immediate action, as community members quickly alerted authorities to the situation.

    The baby was subsequently rescued and rushed to a health facility in Manhyia, where medical personnel are attending to the child. However, the current condition of the infant remains unclear, as health officials are yet to provide an update.

    Police have since commenced investigations into the incident, describing it as both disturbing and unacceptable. Authorities say efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the individual responsible for abandoning the child.

    The police are appealing to the general public, particularly residents of Dechimso-Hafia and its surrounding communities, to assist with any credible information that could aid in the ongoing investigation.
