MP Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah Delivers Relief to Mpasaaso No.1 with Commissioning of Modern Toilet Facility

Residents of Mpasaaso No.1 in the Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region have heaped praise on the Member of Parliament for the area, Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah, following the commissioning of a newly constructed 16-seater modern toilet facility to address the community’s long-standing sanitation challenges.

The ultra-modern facility, which is expected to significantly improve sanitation and public health conditions in the area, has brought renewed hope and relief to residents who for years struggled with the absence of a proper place of convenience.

At a colourful handing-over ceremony attended by traditional leaders, residents, and party supporters, community members openly expressed gratitude to Hon.Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah for what they described as a “timely and life-changing intervention.”

Speaking on behalf of the traditional authorities, Nana Kyei Baffour, Abusuapanin of the Mpasaaso No.1 Traditional Council, recounted the difficult sanitation conditions the community previously endured.

According to him, the lack of a toilet facility forced many residents to resort to open defecation, exposing the community to serious health risks and environmental challenges.

He commended Hon. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah for listening to the concerns of the people and taking practical steps to improve the welfare and dignity of residents.

For his part, Hon. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the development of Ahafo Ano South West, stressing that the welfare of his constituents remains his top priority.

The MP noted that the commissioning of the toilet facility forms part of a broader development agenda aimed at transforming communities across the constituency through improved sanitation, infrastructure, and social intervention projects.

He further assured residents that more developmental projects are underway to enhance living conditions and accelerate progress within the district.

Hon. Elvis Osei Mensah Dapaah also appealed to the people of Mpasaaso No.1 to maintain the facility properly to ensure its long-term sustainability and continued benefit to future generations.

The successful completion and commissioning of the project has been widely described by residents as another clear demonstration of the MP’s dedication and responsiveness to the needs of the people.
