Nnumasua Chief Swears In New Zongohene, Charges Him to Promote Peace and Unity
Nana Asumi Morgyee3 III pledges to sustain harmony in the farming community despite its diverse settler population,while newly enstooled Zongohene Naaba Adam Azuga vows to uphold peace and development.

The Chief of Nnumasua in the Ahafo Ano North Municipality of the Ashanti Region,Nana Asumi Morgye3 III,has reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining peace,security,and unity in the community despite its large population of settlers from different backgrounds.
Speaking in an interview with journalists after officially swearing in Naaba Adam Azuga as the new Zongohene of Nnumasua,near Tepa,Nana Asumi stressed that traditional leaders and community elders would continue working tirelessly to preserve the peaceful coexistence that has characterized the farming community.
According to the chief,peace remains the foundation for development and every effort would be made to ensure that residents,regardless of their ethnic or religious backgrounds,live together harmoniously.
Addressing the newly enstooled Zongohene, Nana Asumi Morgye3 III advised him to remain humble,honest and dedicated to his responsibilities.
He cautioned him against allowing peer pressure or negative influences to derail his leadership.
The chief warned that the same traditional authority that had entrusted him with the position would not hesitate to remove him should he fail to uphold the values of integrity,discipline and service to the people.
Nana Asumi further disclosed that the traditional council in collaboration with community stakeholders,has already implemented a number of measures aimed at eliminating criminal activities and strengthening security within Numesua to ensure the safety of all residents.
In his acceptance remarks the newly sworn-in Zongohene,Naaba Adam Azuga expressed profound gratitude to Nana Asumi Morgye3 III, the elders of Nnumasua and especially Otumfuo Hiahene,the overlord,for the confidence reposed in him.
He pledged to work closely with the traditional authorities,opinion leaders and members of the Zongo community to promote peace,unity,mutual respect and development throughout his tenure.
Naaba Adam Azuga assured residents that he would serve with humility,fairness and dedication while fostering stronger relations between the Zongo community and the traditional leadership for the progress of Nnumasua.
