NPP PC RESCUES OVER 300 COMMUNITIES IN ATWIMA MPONUA WITH FREE MEDICAL EXERCISE:
As we all recall, the health of the people is the wealth of a nation, the New Patriotic Party-NPP 2024 Parliamentary candidate for the good people of Atwima MPONUA Constituency in the Ashanti region Mr Seth Osei Akoto in collaboration with Afari Community hospital,on Tuesday,8th October organised a massive free medical screening, free renewal and fresh National Health insurance card for over thousands of residents within over three hundred (300) Communities in the area.
Over five thousand residents benefitted from days free medical screening exercise and others which forms part of the activities ahead December 7th general polls.
Serebuoso,Kwanfifini,Sereso Tenponmu ,Mpasatia among others benefited from the ongoing free medical exercise.
With the help of Professional health Practitioners or workers including Students from various Health Medical centers and other Nursing and Midwifery Schools supported in the conducted comprehensive medical consultations; provided appropriate medications, and promoted overall well-being within the Constituency and it’s surroundings.
The screenings included tests for hepatitis,BP, malaria, typhoid, diabetes, hypertension, eye alongside other vital health checks and the distribution of medications for various ailments. The initiative raised awareness about managing chronic conditions such as general scanning and diabetes through glucose level and blood pressure monitoring.
According to the host who is also a reknowned Politician,Hon Seth Osei Akoto,the initiative was sought to improve the immediate health of participants. “Bringing healthcare delivery to the doorsteps of individuals within Atwima Mponua Constituency and it’s environs so I intend doing my best as individual to make a move to impact residents.
As part of his corporate social responsibility thus,Hon Osei Akoto seeks to provide compassionate healthcare services and foster the well-being of residents within the area.
He emphasized the importance of such exercises, emphasizing that he help identify if one has a particular disease or condition.He advised the general public about the regular check up to help identify early detection, followed by treatment and good control of the condition, can result in better treatment outcomes and lower the risk of serious complications.
The 2025 member of Parliament hopeful,added that,the initiative is seeks to champion good health and well-being while fostering goodwill and better collaborations within the community.
The success of the free Atwima Mponua Health Screening and counselling services exemplifies the organization’s ongoing mission to contribute to the improvement of the health of all people through quality health education and efficient healthcare delivery.
