    ODOTOBRI RURAL BANK PLC DONATES OVER FIFTY THOUSAND GHANA CEDIS TO 58 STUDENTS:

    As part of its corporate Social responsibility, Odotobri rural bank PLC,has granted scholarship to 58 STUDENTS and other items to stakeholders in the bank’s catchment areas.

     

    Speaking at the gathering held at Nana ADU Darko community center,Jacobi,the chief executive officer,Mr Abraham Coffie said the bank has been consistently awarded bursaries to the brilliant but needy students as well as providing assistance to other Institutions in it’s catchment areas.One of their major priority as bank is to help promote education in their catchment and country at large. “We intend developing the future leaders of this country in different capacities and to contribute meaningful to human life.

    According to him, Odotobri rural bank PLC have supported hundreds of individuals including students who need help to improve their life.
    The bank received sixty six (66) applications for only 2023 and 2024 academic year,out of which fifty eight (58) of them were selected based on the criteria of Scholarship committee led by Mr Daniel Anning, chairman of the committee.
    Each beneficial students received one thousand Ghana Cedis (ghc 1,000.00) each.

    Mr Abraham Coffie,the current chief executive officer of the bank used the opportunity, entreated all students to take their education profitably and promise them that,they will continue to support them in all aspects.

    The beneficiary communities or areas were, Obuasi,Jacobu,Bekwai among others which they showed profound appreciation to the board and management of the bank for their intervention.

    Aside,the bank again has supported Farmers,busineses and other community development with wealth GHC 37,587.88 pesewas.
