Only Asantehene Can Remove Me- Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu Fires Back at Critics Over Daddy Lumba Matters
Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu, the family head of the late Ghanaian highlife legend Daddy Lumba, has strongly responded to critics questioning his authority and leadership within the Parkoso Ekuona royal family.
Speaking in a firm and unapologetic tone during an appearance on Ezra Adehyee with host Sir Mike, Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu made it clear that no individual or group has the power to remove him from his position as family head.
According to him, the only authority capable of destooling or overthrowing him is the revered Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, under the customs and traditions of the Ashanti Kingdom.
He alleged that some individuals plotting against him are being influenced by money and personal interests rather than genuine concern for the family’s unity and reputation.
“Nobody can overthrow me as Parkoso Ekuona family head except the Asantehene. Those planning evil against me are being influenced by money,” he declared.
Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu further urged those opposing him to desist from what he described as unnecessary agitation, emphasizing that he remains resolute and focused on protecting the dignity of the family and the legacy of the late music icon.
His comments come amid ongoing tensions surrounding family decisions and public discussions following Daddy Lumba’s passing.
