    Parents Play Crucial Role in Children’s Upbringing-COP Habiba Yaa Akyere Twumasi Sarpong (Rtd)

    The Executive Director of the Yaa Akyere Foundation, COP Habiba Yaa Akyere Twumasi Sarpong (Rtd), has emphasized the importance of parents playing a major role in their children’s upbringing.

    She urged parents to support teachers and monitor their children’s behavior and movements at home to identify any changes.

    COP Sarpong also encouraged students to use Information and Communication Technology (ICT) positively.

    She made these remarks during the 10th annual Yaa Akyere Foundation Quiz Competition for BECE candidates from various municipalities includes, Apaah, Yonso, Kyekyewere and Mampong.

    The Headmistress of Asokore TI Amass, Hajia Ayesha Nyantakyiwa Boakye, echoed similar sentiments, urging parents to maintain regular communication with teachers to help equip them with knowledge.
