    PNMTC Commends Deputy Health Minister For Proactive Approach to problems

    As we all know,the health of the people is the wealth of the nation,Some Principals of Nursing and Midwifery Training Colleges today at the familiarization visit in Ashanti region praised the Deputy Minister of Health, Hon. Adeleide Yaa Agyeiwaa Ntim, for her proactive measures to address challenges affecting them.

    Since assuming office, Hon. Adeleide Yaa Agyeiwaa Ntim has been visiting Nursing and Midwifery Training Schools just to engage them on ways to improve their services.

    Her recent visits include Kumasi Nursing and Midwifery School, Kumasi
    ENT and NTC, Kumasi
    School of Anathesia and
    SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Kwadaso.

    During her visits, Hon. Adeleide Ntim had fruitful discussions with students’ leadership and staff, pledging the ministry’s commitment to ensuring students receive quality training.

    The Principal of SDA Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Mr. Daniel Atta Tuffour expressed gratitude for the Minister’s visit, stating that since he became principal for the past 18 years, this is the first time a sitting minister had visited his college and he’s much appreciated for this move by the minister.

    He noted that the Minister’s engagement was a motivation, allowing them to share their success stories and challenges affecting the nursing institution.

    Mr. Tuffour commended Hon. Adeleide Yaa Agyeiwaa Ntim for demonstrating competence just few days into office, adding that principals in colleges look forward to working with her for better outcomes.

    On her part, the Deputy Health Minister Hon.Adelaide Ntim after engaging the staffs of the nursing colleges assured to laise with her boss, Dr Bernard Okoe Boye, the minister of health to provide solutions to these challenges.
