The Member of Parliament for Kwadaso, Professor Kingsley Nyarko, has renewed his push for the long-delayed Kwadaso-Beposo AstroTurf project, assuring constituents that the stalled facility is now back on track for completion.

Speaking in an interview on Kumasi-based Hello FM, Prof. Nyarko explained that the delay stemmed largely from contractual bottlenecks, which have now been addressed after sustained engagements with Ghana Gas and the Ministry of Energy.

According to the MP, Ghana Gas recently conducted a nationwide audit of AstroTurf projects, leading to the Kwadaso-Beposo site being selected as one of three priority projects in the Ashanti Region for immediate execution.

A technical team from Ghana Gas, he revealed, visited the site last Thursday to carry out an on-site assessment to determine the final steps needed for resumption.

“I am highly encouraged by the latest developments,” Prof. Nyarko said. “Ghana Gas has officially placed the Kwadaso-Beposo AstroTurf on its immediate implementation agenda, and we are confident construction will soon restart.”

The MP emphasized his commitment to ensuring that the youth of Kwadaso and surrounding communities gain access to modern sports infrastructure that promotes talent development and social cohesion.
