We Need Former MP Back To Contest Ejisu Seat:

Chiefs of Ejisu within the Ejisu Constituency in the Ashanti Region have asked the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Ejisu, Ing. Kwabena Owusu-Aduomi, to come back and contest the Ejisu parliamentary seat in the upcoming by-election.

They assured the former lawmaker of their support over what they described as unprecedented developments brought to the constituency during his tenure as an MP.

According to reports, the chiefs, led by the Omanhene of Ejisu, Oguakro Afrane Okese, invited the Road Engineer to his palace to commend and persuade him to stage a comeback to contest the Ejisu parliamentary seat again.

The Ejisu seat has become vacant after the passing of its MP, who doubled as Deputy Finance Minister, on Thursday, March 7, after a short illness.

“I’m ready to sell my clothes to sponsor ‘Adwumawura’ Owusu-Aduomi for his good works,” a resident said, while others chanted, “Aduomi no size, adwumawura, engineer papapaa!!!”

“I know with Hon. Owusu-Aduomi, all our roads will be fixed,” a constituent added.
