AS3M ABA: NPP GURU GOES HOME:

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Krachi East in the Oti region, Bernard Aborkugya Mensah has passed on.

Adom News‘ Obremponba K. Owusu reports that the unfortunate incident occurred on Friday afternoon.

Mr. Aborkugya Mensah is said to have fallen unconscious while speaking at a matriculation programme at Dambai College of Education.

He died on the way to the Worawora Government Hospital.

The development comes less than two years after he replaced Francis Kofi Okesu who also died under mysterious circumstances in Kumasi.

According to reports, the body of Mr. Okesu was found on Sunday, September 4, 2022 in a hotel.

Francis Kofi Okesu is said to have checked into the hotel room at Kentinkrono on Friday for the weekend.

He was seen moving and meeting with people on Saturday.

But on Sunday, hotel staff did not see him come out of the room or walking around the hotel premises.

The police were alerted and the room was forcibly opened.

His body was found lying naked in a supine position on the bed.

Traces of whitish substance suspected to be semen was seen on his thighs.

He was subsequently laid to rest at his residence at Dambai Community One in the Oti Region in November 2022.
