Dr. Charles Dwamena, a prominent aspirant for the General Secretary position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has extended heartfelt Ramadan greetings to Muslims across Ghana, describing the holy month as a sacred period of reflection, sacrifice, and national cohesion.
In a goodwill message to commemorate the start of Ramadan, Dr. Dwamena prayed for peace, divine favor, and prosperity for all Muslims observing the fast.
“As Ramadan begins, I extend my warmest wishes to our Muslim brothers and sisters.
May this holy month usher in peace, success, and abundant blessings for us all,” he stated.
He emphasized that Ramadan represents more than a period of fasting, noting that it is a time for spiritual renewal and a recommitment to the virtues of discipline, compassion, humility, and selfless service, principles he believes are indispensable in political leadership and effective party administration.

Dr. Dwamena, who currently serves as the NPP’s National Treasurer, also used the occasion to appeal to party delegates and supporters to rally behind his candidature in the upcoming General Secretary contest.
He outlined his vision to strengthen the party’s internal systems, enhance communication between the national leadership and grassroots structures, and reinvigorate the base to position the NPP strongly for future electoral victories.
According to him, credible, transparent, and forward-looking leadership at the party’s secretariat will be crucial in consolidating unity within the party and sustaining its tradition of democratic governance.
Dr. Dwamena’s Ramadan message forms part of his broader engagement with party members nationwide as he intensifies his campaign ahead of the NPP’s internal elections.
