According to him, the NPP in Bekwai requires experienced, competent, and strategic leadership capable of reorganizing the party machinery and positioning it strongly for victory in the 2028 general elections scheduled for December 7,2028.
Speaking to party faithful and supporters, Mr. Nkansah emphasized that his decision to contest the chairmanship position is driven by his unwavering commitment to the growth, unity, and electoral success of the party within the constituency.
He noted that the NPP remains a formidable political force in Ghana and therefore needs dedicated leaders at all levels who can effectively mobilize members, strengthen grassroots structures, and restore confidence among party supporters.
“I humbly appeal to all delegates in the Bekwai Constituency to support my vision and give me the mandate to serve as Constituency Chairman. My experience within the party, coupled with my commitment to strategic leadership and effective organization, will help reposition the party for victory in 2028,” he stated.
Mr. Nkansah further stressed that one of his top priorities would be promoting peace, unity, and reconciliation among party members, explaining that a united front remains the surest path to electoral success.
According to him, internal cohesion and collective responsibility will be key ingredients in rebuilding the party’s strength and ensuring that every member feels valued and included in the decision-making process.
He pledged to work closely with polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, constituency executives, youth groups, women organizers, and all stakeholders to strengthen the party’s grassroots base.
The chairmanship hopeful also assured delegates that under his leadership, the constituency would witness improved party organization, effective communication, and enhanced mobilization efforts aimed at increasing voter support and participation ahead of the 2028 elections.
Mr. Nkansah expressed confidence that with unity, discipline, and hard work, the NPP can emerge stronger and more competitive, not only in Bekwai but across the country.
“I am committed to ensuring lasting peace and unity within the Bekwai NPP family.
Together, we can rebuild trust, energize our grassroots, and work tirelessly towards reclaiming political power in the 2028 general elections,” he added.
His declaration has generated discussions among party members in the constituency, with many expected to closely monitor developments as the party prepares for its internal electoral processes.
Political observers believe the upcoming constituency elections will play a crucial role in shaping the NPP’s organizational strength and readiness for the 2028 national elections.
