DKM:The Grassroots Mobiliser Poised to Re-energise the NPP in Ashanti

    By:Justice Baffour, managing editor,DailyWatchGH.com/Political Desk

As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region prepares to elect a new crop of regional executives, one name continues to resonate strongly among party faithful and grassroots activists-Hon.Daniel Kwaku Mensah, affectionately known as DKM.

With the Ashanti Region remaining the electoral heartbeat of the NPP,delegates are expected to choose leaders who possess the experience, commitment, accessibility and organisational strength to rebuild the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.

According to DKM,his campaign is anchored on unity, grassroots empowerment and effective party organisation.

    Why DKM Stands Out

Hon.Daniel Kwaku Mensah is widely recognised as a committed grassroots politician whose leadership journey has been built on service rather than slogans.

His experience as a constituency organiser, assembly member and local government leader has given him an in-depth understanding of the challenges confronting party structures from the polling station to the regional level.

Supporters believe DKM possesses the qualities required of a Regional Organiser:A proven grassroots mobiliser with deep connections across constituencies.

An approachable and unifying leader who listens to every party member.

A strategist committed to strengthening polling station and electoral area structures.

A dedicated team player focused on rebuilding the NPP for victory in 2028.

A results-oriented organiser who believes every constituency deserves equal attention.

A Vision for a Stronger NPP
DKM has consistently emphasised that the future of the NPP depends on reconnecting with the grassroots, strengthening internal unity and ensuring that every party member feels valued. He has pledged an open-door leadership style that prioritises welfare, effective mobilisation and improved coordination across the Ashanti Region.

According to him,the Ashanti Region must once again become the model of discipline, organisation and political mobilisation that drives the NPP’s national success.

    An Appeal to Delegates

As delegates prepare to decide the future leadership of the party, many believe this is a defining moment to elect a Regional Organiser with experience, humility, energy and the capacity to unite all factions under one common vision.
For supporters,Hon.Daniel Kwaku Mensah(DKM) represents hope, inclusiveness and renewed grassroots activism.

    The message is simple:

“A united party is a winning party, and a stronger Ashanti Region begins with a capable organiser.”

On election day, delegates are encouraged to give Hon.Daniel Kwaku Mensah (DKM) the mandate to serve as the next NPP Ashanti Regional Organiser to help drive the party to a perfect destination and help reposition the party for a resounding victory in the 2028 general elections.
