Sarfo Raphael Patrick Breaks Silence After Ashanti NPP Organiser Election Defeat
“This defeat is not the end of my political journey”-Raph pledges continued commitment to NPP

KUMASI,August 16,2026-Former Ashanti Regional Organiser aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),Sarfo Raphael Patrick,popularly known as Raph, has expressed gratitude to party delegates,supporters,financiers and members of his campaign team following the conclusion of the Ashanti Regional Organiser election.
In a message of appreciation issued after the election,Mr. Sarfo said although the outcome was not what he and his supporters had hoped for, he accepts the decision of the party delegates with humility and respect.
He congratulated the winner and all successful candidates, wishing them wisdom, strength, and God’s guidance as they assume their respective responsibilities.
Mr. Sarfo expressed particular appreciation to his sponsors, financiers, and individuals who supported his campaign financially and materially.
“Your generous contributions, sacrifices, encouragement, and belief in my vision made this journey possible. I will never take your support for granted,” he said.
He prayed for God’s blessings upon all those who contributed to his campaign, asking that their sacrifices be replenished and rewarded abundantly.
The former aspirant also thanked delegates who voted for him, campaigned on his behalf, prayed for his success, spoke to others about his candidature, or offered words of encouragement throughout the campaign.
According to him, the trust and confidence demonstrated by his supporters remain deeply appreciated.
“Defeat is not the end of my political journey”
Mr. Sarfo Raphael Patrick stressed that his defeat in the election would not bring an end to his political activities.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the NPP and said he would continue contributing to the growth, unity, strengthening, and success of the party. “This defeat is not the end of my political journey. I remain committed to the New Patriotic Party and to contributing my quota towards the growth, unity, strengthening, and success of our great party,” he stated.
He further called on party members to put the election behind them and unite for the collective interest of the NPP.
“Our party is bigger than any individual ambition. Let us therefore put the election behind us, unite, and work together for a stronger NPP and a successful future,” he added.
Mr. Sarfo Raphael Patrick ended his message by wishing blessings upon his supporters, the New Patriotic Party, and Ghana.
