    NPP INAUGURATES SPRINTER GROUP IN KUMASI AHEAD RUNNING MATE SELECTION:

    Friends of Napo (FONA); a newly formed group in the New Patriotic Party nationwide advocating for the selection of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been Inaugurated and sworn in it’s National Executive Committee and Regional Coordinators into office.

    The swearing in was held on Friday, 21st June, 2024 at Manhyia South Constituency’s party office of the NPP.

    Political Manager for Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Nana Kodie Abebrese sworn the executives into office.

    Addressing the gathering, National Chairman for FONA, Nana Baffour Asare Sebe charged the executives to work hard in their respective regions so as to help achieve the objective behind the formation of the group.

    He underlined that the group is focused at advocating for Dr. Napo’s selection and also campaigning for the victory of NPP in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

    The National Chairman further expressed that he is hopeful that Ghana’s Energy Minister, Dr. Napo will be selected as the running.

    In his description, he classified Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as a grassroot man and the only person fit to pair Bawumia to retain NPP in governance.

    Nana Kodie Abebrese also spoke of Dr. Napo as a character who is caring, sensitive to the welfare of people and has the development of Ghana at heart.
