NAPO DONATES ITEMS WORTH MILLION OF CEDIS TO 20 ORPHANAGE HOMES:
The vice president hopeful of the governing New Patriotic Party-NPP,Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh widely known as “NAPO” as part of his philanthropist responsibilities on Tuesday ,22nd October,2024 at the Kumasi Heroes park, donated items worth millions of Ghana cedis to support twenty (20) orphanage homes within Ashanti region.
The presentation formed part of his usual charity interventions.
The items donated were assorted drinks, 2,040 gallons of cooking oil, 2,000 bags of rice, 2,400 pieces of tinned mackerels,10,000 exercise books, boxes of toffees, biscuits,1,000 pens and pencils,400 pairs of brand new shoes and many more.
Some of the beneficiaries were, All nations charity home,King Jesus charity home,Mampon babies home,Bread Of life charity home, heart smile orphanage home,Step by step Shelter home, Cherubs orphanage among others.
Each orphanage home received additional one thousand Ghana cedis (GHC 1000) and loading cost,transportation to their respective destination from Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh.
Presenting the items to 20 orphanage homes on his behalf,Nana Ama Tima Boakye,deputy. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation noted that,the overall aim for this donation is to rekindle the lost hope just to feel they are also part of Ghanaian people.
Receiving the items at an elaborate ceremony on behalf of the beneficiaries, Bishop Kofi Owusu,the founder of King Jesus charity home commended Dr NAPO’s for such overwhelming gesture and pledged to use the items for the intended purpose.
He again vowed to support the governing New Patriotic Party-NPP and Dr Opoku Prempeh with their prayers without ceasing until they accomplished their desire goal as they are seeking for Victory 2024 in the upcoming general elections.
