    Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo files completed nomination forms to contest Council of State election:

    Chief of Agric Nzema in Ashanti Region, Nana Nkansah Boadu Ayeboafo, has submitted his completed nomination forms for election as Ashanti Regional representative to the Council of State.

    He delivered it in person on Tuesday, 28th January, 2025 to the Regional Office of the Electoral Commission.

    Accompanying him were Bafour Kantankrankyi (linguist of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II), Hon. Mavis Nkansah Boadu (Member of Parliament for Afigya Sekyere East Constituency) and other eminent traditional leaders.

    Satisfying all requirements stipulated by EC, his forms were accepted and is awaiting elections, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

    Addressing newsmen, the linguist of Asantehene, Bafour Kantankrankyi described Nana Nkansah Boadu as the best man to represent Ashanti Region on the Council of State, hence their decision to rally behind him.

    He described him as a person who has a good heart, sensitive to the development of Ashanti Region and Ghana and one who possesses unique abilities and life experience needed to offer wise counsel to President.

    “I’m appealing to the assembly members to consider him for the position by voting massively for him. I’m also convinced that when elected, Nana Boadu can deliver for the Ashanti Region,”he noted.

    Bafour Kantankrankyi was optimistic that Nana Nkansah Boadu will win the upcoming elections.

    86 assembly members from the 43 MMDCES in Ashanti Region will take part in the election.
