Ghana @ 68:NDC 2024 PC calls for Unity in Atwima Kwanwoma:
Mrs. Grace Asamoah Agyeman, the 2024 Atwima Kwanwoma parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians to put aside partisan politics and focus on the country’s progress. She emphasized the need for unity and collaboration to drive Ghana’s development, urging everyone to work together to achieve their collective dreams for the nation.
This call to action was made during the 68th Independence Day celebration held at Atwima Twedie in the Atwima Kwanwoma district. As a parliamentary candidate, Mrs. Asamoah Agyeman has shown her commitment to the constituency, and her message highlights the importance of unity in achieving Ghana’s development goals.
It’s worth noting that Mrs. Asamoah Agyeman filed her nomination to contest in the parliamentary election, representing the NDC in the Atwima Kwanwoma constituency.
Nana Opoku Karikari Okogyedom II, the chief of Kromoase Kotokuom, recently expressed his disappointment with supporters of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), including Assembly Members, for not attending the 68th Independence Day celebration. He described their absence as “non-patriotic”.
The chief emphasized the importance of unity, urging the general public, especially those in the Atwima Kwanwoma District, to work together towards a common goal. He stressed that without unity, development is impossible.
Nana Okogyedom II has been vocal about issues affecting his community. For instance, he has requested that individuals and corporate bodies submit land documents for verification. Additionally, he has taken steps to address the abandonment of a six-unit classroom block project in Kromoase, which was initiated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2019.
