    Ashanti Regional Minister,Dr Amoakohene Sworns in 7 out of 8 Approved MMDCE’S:

    Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has sworn in 7 out of 8 newly approved Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives MMDCE’s in the Ashanti region with a grand inaugural session planned to formally induct all new MMDCEs once outstanding nominations are approved.

    During the swearing-in ceremony, Dr. Amoakohene emphasized the importance of serving with the nation at heart and the President in mind. He encouraged the new MMDCE’s to drive development and improve the lives of their constituents. Dr. Amoakohene also commended President John Dramani Mahama for the opportunity to serve and expressed appreciation to Assembly Members and Members of Parliament for their continued support.

    Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Amoakohene is expected them to play a pivotal role in addressing healthcare and governance challenges in the region, leveraging his background as a medical professional and seasoned political leader,he said.

    During the swearing in ceremony,Dr. Amoakohene emphasized the importance of collaboration and prioritizing the welfare of the people.He’s encouraging the MMDCEs to work with various stakeholders, including traditional leaders, to drive development and serve the best interests of their constituents. By putting the people’s needs first, they can effectively address challenges and improve lives in the region.

    Some of the confirmed and approved MMDCEs were,Atwima Nwabiagya south,Amansie west,Atwima Kwanwoma,Kwabre east,Amansie central,Offinso and one other.
