Abdullah Hamidu Confirms As Bosomtwe DCE With 100%Endorsement:

Abdullah Hamidu has been confirmed as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Bosomtwe District Assembly in the Ashanti Region, following a successful vote that saw him secure a commanding 100 percent of the total valid votes cast.
The confirmation exercise took place under tight security on May 20, 2025, with personnel from the Ghana Police Service,Ghana fire service and the Ghana Immigration Service deployed to the to ensure peaceful event.

The move was seen as a precautionary measure to maintain peace and order.

According to www.dailywatchgh.com report, Hamidu polled 48 ‘Yes’ votes and Non of them voted ‘No’ out of 48 total votes cast by assembly members.In his acceptance speech, Abdullah Hamidu expressed profound gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for nominating him for the role.

He pledged to work diligently to accelerate development in the Bosomtwe district, emphasizing infrastructure, Prioritization of lake Bosomtwe and youth empowerment as his top most priority.

“I am deeply humbled by the confidence reposed in me, and I assure the good people of Bosomtwe that I will work tirelessly to bring positive change and development to our communities,” the report said.

He emphasized that unity and teamwork were essential for achieving development goals in the district.
