    ATWIMA KWANWOMA DCE HON GRACE ASAMOAH AGYEMANG DECLARES SECOND SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH AS SANITATION DAY:

    As part of her leadership strategies to promote a clean and healthy environment in the district,Hon. Grace Asamoah Agyemang, the District Chief Executive for Atwima Kwanwoma, has taken a proactive step to promote a clean and healthy environment in the district. By declaring the second Saturday of every month a sanitation day starting on Coming Saturday,7th June 2025 at her own backyard Kromoase Afasiebon area.

    Hon Grace aims to promote community involvement, encourage citizens to take ownership of their environment and participate in keeping it clean.

    She again advised Ghanaians especially those within her jurisdiction to help Improve public health through regular clean-up exercises which can help prevent the spread of diseases and promote overall well-being and instill a sense of responsibility and habit of maintaining a clean environment among residents.

    Hon Grace initiative can have a positive impact on the district’s environment, public health, and community cohesion.

    Making disclosure in an encounter with this medium,www.dailywatchgh.com,Hon.Grace reveals that this initiative is to make the sanitation exercise a continuous project is commendable. By engaging the public, especially in Atwima Kwanwoma, she aims to foster a sense of community responsibility and promote environmental sustainability.     Some notable environmental initiatives in Ghana include,National Tree Planting Exercise that, President John Dramani Mahama launched a nationwide afforestation campaign, targeting 30 million trees in 2025.
    The project encourages tree planting across the country, with institutions and individuals participating.

    Hon. Grace’s initiative might gain momentum if it aligns with or complements these existing projects. Community-led projects like hers can significantly impact local environment.
