Former Defence Minister and Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma, Hon. Kofi Amankwah Manu, has called on members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to close ranks and work together if the party is to retain power in the 2028 general elections.

Addressing party supporters during a clean-up exercise at Aboabo Kesse in the Atwima Kwanwoma Municipality, Hon. Manu stressed that unity is the party’s strongest weapon. He urged members to set aside internal disagreements and fully support whoever emerges as flagbearer after the January 31, 2026 presidential primaries.

He also touched on local development issues, assuring residents that he would engage relevant authorities to ensure the construction of speed ramps on the highway to enhance safety and reduce road accidents.

Community members warmly welcomed his assurance, expressing optimism about the positive impact such interventions would bring.

The Assembly Member for Kwanwoma Electoral Area, Hon. Dr. Emmanuel Asuah Dadzie, praised the enthusiasm of polling station executives, noting that their dedication to both community service and the party’s progress was commendable.
