Kumasi Based Kessben Media Host Attacked By LGBTQ+ Activists, Private Car Vandalised.

A reknown Kumasi Based Kessben media broadcast Journalist,Hon Kwabena Akuoko Kwarteng is receiving threats from LGBTQ+ activists.

He claims the gate of his private vehicle was vandalized few days ago after a verbal banter erupted between him and some highly peeved funs of LGBTQ+ at the time he was purchasing “awaakye” at Mfante New Town in Kumasi Subin constituency of Ashanti Region.

Till date, he has being receiving threatful phone calls and text messages from unknown numbers.

Akuoko Kwarteng told the media at a press briefing on Monday, 12th February, 2024, that the whole issue started after he expressed his opinion on parliament’s discussion of the practice of LGBTQ+.

Commenting on his usual morning show program at Kessben Fm, he said that, discussions on wether or not to legitimize the practice of the act in Ghana is immaterial, since it does in any way contribute to the development of the country.
