Kumawu MP Reaffirms Commitment to Development at Ghana’s 69th Independence Day Celebration

The Member of Parliament for the Ernest Yaw Anim, who represents the Kumawu Constituency, has reiterated his commitment to accelerating development in the area through strategic partnerships and unity among residents.

Speaking at the 69th Independence Day parade held at Oyoko, Hon.Anim emphasized the importance of collective effort in transforming Kumawuman into a hub of growth and opportunity.

The event formed part of nationwide celebrations marking Ghana Independence Day, observed annually on March 6 to commemorate the country’s independence.

Addressing students, traditional authorities, assembly members, and residents who gathered for the parade, the Kumawu lawmaker noted that the theme for this year’s celebration, “Building Prosperity, Restoring Hope,” reflects the need for renewed commitment toward national and community development.

He assured constituents that he remains dedicated to championing initiatives that will improve infrastructure, education, and economic opportunities across the constituency.

Hon.Anim further called on residents of Kumawuman to remain united and supportive of development efforts, stressing that collaboration among stakeholders is key to achieving sustainable progress.

According to him, with strong partnerships and shared determination, the Kumawu Constituency can continue to grow and serve as a beacon of hope and prosperity for its people.

The Independence Day parade featured marching displays by school children and local groups, drawing participation from community leaders and residents who gathered to commemorate the historic day.
