Hundreds of residents and health enthusiasts thronged the principal streets of Suame Magazine in the Ashanti Region as renowned herbal practitioner and founder of the Dr. Amagashi Herbal and Spiritual Centre,Apostle Dr. Samuel Amagashi, led a massive health walk to promote preventive healthcare and announce the official opening of his ultra-modern healthcare facility.
The colourful exercise, which attracted an enthusiastic crowd, was organised to encourage Ghanaians to adopt healthy lifestyles and to raise public awareness ahead of the grand opening of the Dr. Amagashi Herbal and Spiritual Centre, situated opposite the Church of Pentecost at Suame Makro in the Suame Municipality on Friday,July 24,2026.

Addressing journalists after the event, Dr. Amagashi stressed that regular medical check-ups remain one of the most effective ways to detect diseases early, prevent complications and save lives.
He expressed concern that many people only seek medical attention when their health conditions have become critical, largely due to financial difficulties, fear of hospitals or reliance on self-medication.
“Many diseases can be successfully treated if they are detected early. Delaying treatment often leads to avoidable complications and, in some cases, death. I therefore encourage every Ghanaian to undergo regular medical screening and seek professional healthcare without delay,” he said.
Dr. Amagashi clarified that the health walk was not the official commissioning of the facility but a public awareness campaign to invite Ghanaians to witness the inauguration of what he described as a modern herbal and holistic healthcare centre dedicated to improving lives.
According to him, the new facility combines quality herbal medicine with professional care in a serene environment to provide holistic healthcare services for patients seeking alternative and complementary treatment.

He further appealed to former patients whose health has improved through the centre’s services,as well as residents, traditional authorities, religious leaders and the general public,to attend the official opening ceremony and support the vision of expanding access to quality herbal healthcare in Ghana.
Dr. Amagashi disclosed that the ceremony is expected to attract several distinguished personalities, including President John Dramani Mahama, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II,ministers of state, traditional rulers, religious leaders and other prominent guests.
He reiterated that preventive healthcare is far less costly than treating advanced illnesses and urged Ghanaians not to allow financial challenges to discourage them from seeking medical care.
As excitement builds ahead of Friday’s grand opening, organisers say the ultra-modern Dr. Amagashi Herbal and Spiritual Centre is expected to become one of the leading destinations for herbal and holistic healthcare in the Ashanti Region, offering residents renewed hope for accessible, quality and patient-centred treatment.
