Captain (Rtd.) Solomon Reuben Jabari, an aspiring National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency chairman at Atwima Kwanwoma,has accused electoral officials of deliberately preventing some eligible delegates from voting in the ongoing constituency elections.
According to Captain Jabari,some delegates who should be allowed to participate in the electoral process have allegedly been denied access to vote over what officials reportedly describe as unclear photographs in the party’s album.
The aspiring chairman has questioned the justification for the decision,alleging that the affected delegates are being unfairly prevented from exercising their voting rights.
The development has raised concerns about the conduct of the ongoing polls,with attention focused on the handling of the disputed photographs and the eligibility of the affected delegates.
