Assembly member, residents unhappy over abandoned Asaago Ampayoo Daso road Project.

The Assembly member for Ampayoo Asaago Daso electoral area in the Atwima Kwanwoma municipal of Ashanti region,Hon. Nelson Boakye Yiadom, and residents are expressing frustration over the abandoned road construction project in their community. The project, initiated by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has been left incomplete, causing disruptions to daily activities and posing a threat to residents’ safety.

The situation is dire, with the incomplete road becoming a breeding ground for criminals and increasing robbery cases in the area. Hon. Yiadom has been trying to get in touch with the contractor, ATARCHY, but they have been unresponsive.

Hon. Yiadom is urging the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to fulfill its campaign promise to complete all ongoing construction road projects. This promise was likely part of the NDC’s 2024 manifesto, which emphasized serving the people with dedication and selflessness.

The NDC’s commitment to completing ongoing projects is crucial, especially considering the abandoned road project in Ampayoo Asaago Daso electoral area. This project’s completion is essential for the community’s development and safety.

Hon. Kofi Amankwaa-Manu, the two-term and current Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma constituency, has been commended by residents for his selfless efforts in completing projects in the area in 2024

As a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Amankwaa-Manu has been instrumental in bringing development to the constituency.

By reminding the NDC of its campaign promise, Hon. Yiadom is advocating for the well-being of his electorates and holding the governing party accountable for its commitments.

The community is eagerly awaiting a resolution to this issue, and it’s essential for the authorities to take immediate action.
