MTN Ghana has set the stage for a bold digital future with the launch of DigiFest 2025, a tech-driven festival designed to transform young Ghanaians from consumers of technology into creators, leaders, and digital entrepreneurs.
Far from being a routine showcase, DigiFest 2025 doubles as a national accelerator for talent, combining learning, innovation, and entertainment under one roof.
At the launch, MTN Ghana CEO Stephen Blewett declared that the company’s mission goes beyond connectivity:
“We’re not just building networks,we’re building bridges to opportunity for Ghana’s next wave of innovators and entrepreneurs.”
Backing this vision, MTN is pumping $25 million into a futuristic ICT Hub and the MTN Digital Skills Academy, initiatives set to arm young people with world-class digital skills to compete globally.
With AI masterclasses, mobile gaming battles, and UX/UI hackathons, DigiFest is where tech meets creativity. Chief Digital Officer Ibrahim Misto captured the urgency:
“Technology is no longer optional. It’s the future of work, the future of play—and Ghana’s youth must lead it.”
Adding star power, global tech brands like Samsung, Huawei, and Abena AI are powering immersive experiences, while Tech Quiz Fridays and live gaming zones turn digital literacy into an exciting challenge.
In essence, DigiFest 2025 isn’t just a festival it’s Ghana’s blueprint for a digitally inclusive tomorrow, with young people at the core of the transformation.
