A/R: MP COMMISSIONED PROJECTS WITH DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS:

As he has already promised massive development, On Thursday,28th March 2024,the Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency who doubles as the Ghana’s deputy minister of Defense,Hon Lawyer Kofi Amankwa-Manu together with his development partners – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints commissioned series of developmental projects. These includes A 3-Bedroom staff accommodation, a fully equipped Health Centre with a mechanized water system and a 16kW Solar powered for the people of Winsa and surrounding communities such as Amoafa, Nkwanta and Dentekrom.

In 2022,his office funded the construction of a Health Center facility at Winsa. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints visited the facility and as a gesture of support, they promised to build an accommodation facility and equip the centre to make it a reliable centre for healthcare and treatment. They also offered a 16kW solar powered energy source for the facility since Winsa is yet to be connected to the national electricity grid.

The facility has been handed over to the Atwima Kwanwoma District Health Directorate for onward usage. This is a testament towards our commitment to improving the safety and wellbeing of the people of Atwima Kwanwoma.

According to hon Amankwa-Manu,I convey our immeasurable tons of gratitude to the Church and its missionaries for this kind gesture to us in Atwima Kwanwoma. We are eternally grateful.
