The Headmaster of Bibiani Senior High Technical School (BISEC), Mr. George Baidooh, has procured educational equipment and school supplies valued at GH¢72,000 to enhance teaching, learning, and extracurricular activities in the school.

The items include an HP laptop, two multimedia projectors, a lawn mower, a complete regimental band for the school’s cadet corps, two water hoses, a gas burner, a 15-kilogram gas cylinder, and ten sewing machines for the Home Economics Department.
Presenting the items at the school’s assembly hall, Mr. Baidooh expressed gratitude to God for helping him fulfill one of his long-held dreams.
“I have always wanted the school to have a brass band, and today God has made that dream a reality,” he said.

He also commended the 1993 year group of BISEC old students for supporting the initiative by donating six drums to complement the newly acquired regimental band.
The Headmaster further praised the school administration, teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as students, for their dedication, commitment, and cooperation in advancing the school’s development. He urged both staff and students to make effective use of the new equipment while ensuring proper maintenance to extend their lifespan.

Speaking on behalf of the staff, the Head of the Home Economics Department, Mrs. Gloria Somiah, expressed appreciation to the Headmaster and the school management for the investment in teaching and learning resources.
She assured the administration that the equipment would be properly maintained and used responsibly.

The school administration has also been widely commended for its continuous efforts to improve infrastructure and academic standards at BISEC.
Following the increase in student enrolment, management successfully renovated an uncompleted boys’ dormitory to provide additional accommodation.
To address the school’s water challenges, four mechanized boreholes have been constructed through the support of government agencies, religious organizations, and the school’s old students.
Additionally, Sefwiman Rural Bank has contributed to the school’s development by renovating the senior block and repainting the main entrance, further enhancing the image of the institution.

These initiatives reflect the school’s commitment to creating a conducive learning environment and positioning Bibiani Senior High Technical School as one of the leading second-cycle institutions in the Western North Region.
